3 Wochen alt - 3 weeks old

Heute bin ich 3 Wochen alt. Meine Händchen und Füsschen sind nicht mehr ganz so verrunzelt und ich bin jetzt auch schon viel mehr tagsüber wach als noch mit 2 Wochen.

Schlafen kann ich aber immer noch am besten von allen Dingen auf der Welt, aber Mama ist auch ganz happy darüber, weil so kann sie sich trotzdem noch um meinen Bruder Timmy kümmern, Wäsche waschen (ich verbrauche 2-3 Outfits pro Tag + dutzende Spucktücher und Deckchen) und die Küche aufräumen (Papa arbeitet da etwas gegen sie mit seinen Kochkünsten). Diese Woche waren wir nämlich zum ersten Mal allein zu Hause - also Timmy, Mama und ich - aber das hat eigentlich ganz gut geklappt - wenn der Timmy brav ist.

Am Sonntagmorgen war ich mit Papa und Timmy allein zu Hause. Mama war brunchen auf einer Baby Shower von ihren PEPS Müttern. Papa hat mir sogar ein Fläschchen gegeben als ich Hunger hatte.

Am Dienstag hatten Mama und Papa ihren 3. Hochzeitstag. Da waren wir im teuren Supermarkt einkaufen und haben ganz viele verschiedene Leckereien für die beiden besorgt, damit sie zu Hause schön "essen gehen" konnten.

Heute machen wir noch Familienfotos. Da bin ich ja mal gespannt...

Now that I am 3 weeks old, I am much more awake and alert then the 2 weeks. My feet and hands are less wrinkled and I am ready for some family pictures, which we want to take today. And I am a good sleeper so far (usually 2x 4 hour stretches between 1 am and 9 am), so my mom is quite happy. She was a little anxious that I won't sleep as good as my big brother did, when he was a baby, because everyone told her the second kid (me) won't be as easy and sleeping that well, but we'll see how it turns out in the future.

This week Dad went back to work and "Oma" (Grandma) flew home to Germany, but Mom tries to stay calm and handle the situation all by herself. I still take lots of naps during the day, so she can find some time for laundry and cleaning. Sometimes Tim gives her a hard time - he has to share her attention now with me, but he gets better with the new situation every day. 

Mom and Dads wedding anniversary was on Tuesday, so we went to Metropolitan Market and got the two of them some yummy stuff, so they could celebrate at home.
